Acts27:20-25
We find Paul in the middle of a fierce storm on a ship at the point of where we are reading. Many of us are going through such life storms where the tempest has tossed us to and fro.
The v.20 tells us that all hope was lost, they couldn’t see the sun or the stars for the raging storm had blotted them out. Maybe that’s how you may be feeling now, that all hope is gone and that your situation is at a dead end.
The only thing left is to just wait to sink, but my brother and sister that’s not the case. Hope is still very much alive in your situation and my situation. Why is that? Because God has given us the gift of life (v.22).
As long as there is life, we live to fight another day. God hasn’t forgotten you.
Maybe your situation will go down in the storm but take heart! Your life will not be lost, your hope will not be lost, your future will not be lost, because God has granted you and I safety as long as we remain in Him.
The Lord is by your side, it may seem as if He’s not but trust me, He’s very much right there. Be blessed and hold on to Him. Your story is not finished yet, so count your blessings and name them one by one.
Amen.
